We are happy to welcome Armorlogic and its customers to the Alert Logic (www.alertlogic.com) family. As you may have seen, Armorlogic has been acquired by Alert Logic, the leader in Security-as-a-Service solutions. Currently, more than 1,500 customers subscribe to one or more of our advanced security solutions, which are coupled with 24×7 Security Operations Center expertise to protect customer infrastructure wherever it resides – in-house, hosted, or in the cloud.
Armorlogic has built an excellent product and we are excited about extending the Armorlogic product to our SaaS platform. Alert Logic’s greater size and scale allows us to invest more aggressively in WAF products, building upon the impressive work of the Armorlogic team.
We are committed to integrating the companies as smoothly as possible. I would like to highlight a few important points:
- The combined company will continue providing support for Profense WAF and other Armorlogic products and services
- Armorlogic customers will experience no change in their service relationship with the company, but can expect to see improved support as we integrate Profense support into our core support organization and infrastructure
- We have retained the entire Armorlogic team and have already added engineers to the WAF team to accelerate building next generation web application security solutions.
Later this year, we will introduce a "Security-as-a-Service" version of Profense WAF with the option to also receive fully managed services. With expert services to deploy, configure, tune and monitor this complex security technology, we expect to simultaneously increase the effectiveness and decrease the total cost of ownership of WAF solutions.
Additionally, the fully managed WAF can be integrated with Alert Logic’s existing Security-as-a-Service offerings, encompassing network intrusion detection, vulnerability assessment and log management. We will keep you updated as these plans come together.
